I am originally from NY and moved to Virginia Beach 3 years ago. I have two young girls of my own. Why did I become a pediatric speech language pathologist you may ask- that answer is a simple one. I saw the impact I can make on children's lives. I was a nanny for a family with numerous children on the spectrum and I saw immediately the benefits SLP's had made on them for their lives at a young age to now as adults.
